What I Wore Featuring Unique Vintage

Twee Valley High and Unique Vintage
Today's post is part of a new collaboration with Unique Vintage! They recently launched a wonderful campaign with an emphasis on personal style. I'm honored to be part of the UV Style Society, an amazing group of bloggers, many whom I already follow. The goal of the campaign is to promote positivity through shared photos tagged #iamunique. You can use the tag to share your favorite shots and see others involved.

I'm all for inclusive campaigns, especially when it comes to fashion. UV even created a cute video expressing the love they have for their customers

The company sent me this beautiful dress to create my own look. It's classic and my petticoats go perfectly with it. When it comes to shopping their site, I found that looking at sizing and fabric is super important. Make sure to measure yourself to get the best fit. Some fabric has more stretch than others so it's best to size down if that's the case. Either way, I might check with customer service to find the best fit. This dress was actually a bit big in the bust, but the next size down was perfect.

Thanks to Unique Vintage for creating a campaign that celebrates the unique you. Enjoy my rainy day photos!

What I Wore To Chelsea Market (Featuring Voodoo Vixen)

I finally got around to taking photos with my fabulous Voodoo Vixen dress. You might remember this brand from the giveaway I held a few months back. The company asked me to review something among their new designs and this Judy Jetson dress called my name.

The dress is so fun and, in terms of quality, I was really impressed. The fit is perfect and the material is a nice, thick cotton. One detail I liked was that the belt is not rigid or too small. I usually have issues with belts that come with dresses, especially vintage. I had a really good experience with this company and I like that the prices are reasonable. I would definitely recommend their adorable prints.

Photo Diary: A Twee Valley High Christmas 2014

From Rockefeller Center to department store windows, NYC is a magical place this time of year. I took two trips uptown to admire the spectacle. I made sure to take lots of photos and grab a cupcake on my way out.

Per usual, the windows at Bergdorfs were glorious.

I tried on some purple lipstick earlier that day and it looks a tad odd in this photo. I enjoy my fun pose though. This might be my favorite window. Gotta love the drama!

Back in Texas, Tallulah met the family where everyone fell in love. They spoiled her with delicious food and adorable dresses. She got to hang out in a backyard and basically go everywhere with me.

My best friend brought me cupkcakes from my favorite spot in Austin, Sugar Mamas. They are so cute, especially the snowman!

I looked through the stacks of baby clothes my mom had saved. This outfit was especially precious. I tried a few things on Tallulah as she silently plotted her revenge. ;)

Here are a few photos from Christmas Eve, which is when we celebrate with dinner at Mi Tierra and wait till midnight to open gifts. I got my dress from a Modcloth a few months back. It was a comfortable, elegant choice for Christmas festivities.

I got my Grandma a unique necklace from an NYC sample sale. She loves a good statement piece. Every year, she does all the decorations and the house looks amazing!

I think my step-father misses Tallulah the most. He really enjoyed having her around.

I got this adorable ASOS purse for my cat-loving cousin.

I got my mom a fancy Louboutin book. I hope she likes it. It feels so heavy and luxurious. I wish I'd gotten to look through it more.

I hope everyone had the best holiday! It was amazing seeing my family and I can't wait for another Texas trip.
