Charmingly Happy Accessories

Twee Valley High Instagram // The Happiness Boutique
Where have I BEEN?! I know..i know..my previous computer basically died, which made it difficult to do any sort of blogging. Paired with friends and family in town, it's been a busy season. Although fall has arrived, I don't feel quite done with pinks and pastels. Happiness Boutique recently sent some colorful samples, perfect for any season. I've worn them multiple occasions and especially love these green chandeliers. The shape is very modern art deco! The second pair adds to my abundance of floral accessories. I'm a fan of the pretty simplicity.  These were my top two but you can find more (well-priced) items on their site!

A Snowy Day in Brooklyn

Weather is crazy in NYC. Temperatures are lower than ever, yet here I am, a crazy person staging a snowy photo shoot. Despite the cold, I'm really happy with these photos. It was gorgeous on my roof and the snow, untouched, kept falling in such a whimsical fashion.

These dresses come courtesy of Unique Vintage. I'm especially in love with the polka dot dress, which I wore to a fashion week show. I was wary of cap sleeves and possible waist pleats, but turns out the dress is super flattering and surprisingly floaty. It made me want to spin about, which you can see from the photos below. It's also really comfortable, which is fairly important to me.

The hat is one of my favorite things I own. Jason gave it to me when we first started dating. I mentioned in passing that I always wanted one and he set out to find the best leopard pill-box. It was a darling surprise that I have yet to forget. It's also the perfect statement piece and wonderful in winter weather.

My second look has adorable hearts all over. I'm not a huge fan of the stretchy fabric, but the print more than makes up for it, plus the front has some flattering ruching. It's great for the winter season when I can pair a dress with a cardigan and tights.

This is my second entry as part of the Unique Vintage Style Society. I'm still honored they asked and I'm glad to be part of such a positive campaign. Some of my favorite bloggers have also partnered with UV, like Chronically Vintage and The Soubrette Brunette. Definitely check out their posts and follow the #iamunique hashtag on Instagram.

What I Wore to Hang With Susie's Senior Dogs

I recently had a fun doggie date with Susie's Senior Dogs aka Erin and her adorable senior, Susie. Erin started this amazing facebook page to promote senior dogs who are up for  adoption. "Tallulah" was actually featured the same day I picked her up! The response was amazing and it makes me feel so lucky to have found her when I did. After our meet-up, Erin wrote a cute little feature that totally made me (and Tallulah) smile.

Such cuties!

On a fashion note, plus-size brand, Yours Clothing was sweet enough send me this adorable mint dress and a cute pink bag, which I'm really into considering I have so many bags. The bag feels heavier than most non-leather options and I was surprised at the great quality. The dress was perfect for a lovely day in Central Park. They also sent me some super cute pjs with puppies on them, but that shall be for another day.

The mint version might be out of stock now, but they also have a summery coral color.  The dress I'm super obsessed with is this lacy one with a peter-pan collar. So pretty! A big thanks to this brand for sending me such quality items.
