Campaign Love: Louis Vuitton Spring 2012

I love sweets and Louis Vuitton's newest campaign is sweet as sweet can be. The ads, set to run in February, are pretty much a wonderland of fashion confection. Shot by Steven Meisel and starring Daria Strokous and Kati Necher, the Louis Vuitton dresses fits the girly backdrop to a T. Marc Jacobs told WWD, "It's all very soft and very sweet, yet at the same time very bold and very graphic" I couldn't agree more! The unabashed sweetness makes it one of my favorite ads of the season.

Designer Pumpkin Carvings

Here are a few more pumpkin related things I can totally get behind! I wouldn’t eat these, but boy are they neat to look at. Refinery 29 took a creative, designer-inspired approach to good ole fashioned pumpkin carving. My pumpkins are looking decidedly uncool compared to these babies, but maybe that just means it’s time to get creative. One thing’s for sure, this proves there’s more than one way to embrace fall style! Inspiration for the above pumpkin should be obvious (Louis Vuitton!).
