Halloween style from 2018-2020!
Retail Therapy
How are ya'll? My shop is more or less closed right now with the occasional appointment. I miss my customers and I miss dressing up on a daily basis. I dress for myself, but usually with somewhere to go in mind. That said, with so many options for summer, I treated myself to some fancy frocks from Target. They are from the new LoveShackFancy and Lisa Marie Fernandez collections. So much pink..I'm totally obsessed. The pretty princess details of this first dress brought a smile to my face and the swishy layers of the second dress are wonderfully sweet. The last dress is sugar and spice and everything nice with polka dot details and a large sassy ruffle.

Pre-Quarantine Outfits
I definitely miss dressing up and heading to my shop on a daily basis. Here are a few Outfit of the Day posts that I didn't get to last year. I want to post here more regularly, but, now that I actually have time, it's tough to get motivated during a pandemic. San Antonio is in the top three hotspots of the U.S. and that's definitely anxiety inducing. I will say that when I do dress up, I feel better about my day. It's great for my mental health so I will try to keep it up. Stay tuned for my next post, where I try on some super cute dresses. I did some online retail therapy from Target. ;)
Black Lives Matter
Vintage fashion, NOT vintage values. ✊🏼
This has always been a phrase near and dear to my heart. It’s something that’s incredibly important to me because I adore vintage aesthetics, but would never want to live in another time than the present. Presently, we are fighting for our future and, importantly, the future of black lives.
💕 Black Lives Matter. 💕 That’s another phrase that I’ve fully embraced. I’ve been reposting and retweeting, but I want to do something tangible for the black community. It being Pride 🌈 month, I want to specifically uplift the queer black community.
During the month of June, Hello Tallulah will donate 15% of all sales online and in-person to the Black Trans Protestors Emergency Fund.
Hello Tallulah has been selling online, but next Wednesday (6/10), we will officially open for private appointments. There will be rules in place that are soon to be announced. The 15% includes sales this past week and the rest of the month. I hope we can do our small part to protect the black LGBTQ community.
The Black Trans Protestors Emergency Fund is in partnership with the Black Trans Travel Fund, For the Gworls and The Okra Project. The fund is raising money to support Black trans protestors with resources, medical care and bail. All funds that are not needed will be redistributed to Black trans-led organizations doing the work to minimize violence against Black trans folks.
“Ya’ll, black trans and black queer people face the same racist state violence as black cis people while also grappling with anti-trans antagonism and violence. We are your brothers, sisters and siblings, too. Black trans men and masculine of center folks as well as black trans women, femmes and GNC/non-binary people deserve safety, protection and care. Rest in power.” - Janet Mock

Tiki Time!
I recently bought this fabulous skirt at Broadway Pinup. Paired with my Pinup Girl Top, it was the perfect look for the tiki event that I recently attended!
My boyfriend Stephen wiped out in the limbo contest, but he was the last dude standing!
